The experience and know-how of CCI personnel is available
on a contract basis to design and support the development of products for a
range of projects within our extensive fields of expertise. Contract services
include crystal growth R&D, laser system modeling, frequency conversion
optimization, electro-optic device design, development and assembly, non-linear
optical analysis, thermal aberration modeling, thin-film coating design and
deposition, holder and mount design, and the full capabilities of our precision
machine shop. Representative projects include SolGel coatings for large- aperture astronomical optics, the manufacture of astronomical lens assemblies, and the design and assembly of flight-qualified electro-optic devices for space-oriented uses.
